Provide day to day services including basic human needs and case management to vulnerable low income individuals and families at existing social service facility in Cranston. This includes facilitating need assessments and follow up linkages to needed resources/services. Coordinate with the local Health Equity Zone to meet the needs of their diverse residents.
Minimum of AA degree in related field with a minimum of one yearâ€™s experience providing social services to underserved individuals
Bilingual/bicultural representative of target population preferred
Knowledge and willingness to learn about local/state systems, benefits and supports for low income individuals
Demonstrated respect and sensitivity to provide linguistically and culturally relevant collaboration throughout all service provision
Effective communication skills, time management and professionalism
Ability to utilize supervision and follow direction, working as part of a team
Ability to work independently as needed while thinking systemically about service provision
