In the United States, someone has a heart attack every 34 seconds and 22 million people are diagnosed with diabetes. CHWs play an integral role in helping community members stay healthy and get treatment.

For Certified Community Health Workers (or those close), this 30 hour specialized training provides required content to apply for the Certified Community Health Worker Specialty in Cardiovascular Health & Diabetes. For more on that certification, link HERE.
