DESCRIPTION:CHW Impact organizes a monthly call with community health workers from around the globe! The February Monthly call will take place on February 22\, 2023 from 10 am Eastern Time. One of our RI CHWs brought it to our attention.  As as far as we know\, you just join the zoom to sign up. DESCRIPTION:We can’t wait to network with you!\n\n\n\nNext Networking Gathering: Friday\, Feb 24\, 12-1pm\n\n\n\nRegister for the February 24th Networking Gathering from 12pm-1pm\, which will feature our new Communications & Outreach Assistant\, Dimaura Tavares!   She will talk about her work as an Advocate at AS220 Youth as well as the new format for our CHW Gatherings that will feature important CHWs like YOU! \n\n\n\n\nRegister here!\n\n\n\n\nNew Gathering Format\n\n\n\nCHWARI wants to feature Community Health Workers more in our Monthly Networking Gatherings.  Do you have a work lesson or a story about your community you want to share? \n\n\n\nOur format is that the CHW will talk for 15 minutes about the work they do and then answer questions for 10 minutes.  The remainder of the time – about 30 minutes – will be comprised of networking and sharing\, where all CHWs can swap resources and brainstorm solutions. We will provide an honorarium paying the CHW for their hour of time. \n\n\n\nWould YOU like to request being featured in an upcoming gathering? Email joinchwari@gmail.com to let us know what you’d like to share about your work as a CHW and we would love to consider it! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet Dimaura Tavares\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCHWARI is thrilled to announce our new Communications and Outreach Assistant\, Dimaura Tavares! \n\n\n\nIn addition to great enthusiasm\, Dimaura brings to the position her experience as an Advocate at AS220 Youth\, a non-profit arts program for at-risk youth.  Empowering youth and connecting them with opportunities will always be close to her heart. She is passionate about expressing herself though art and being a helping\, supportive hand to her community.   \n\n\n\nDimaura is excited to bring fresh energy and diversity to the CHWARI team.
