DESCRIPTION:Rhode Island-based community health worker colleagues are invited to join MLPB for this upcoming training opportunity! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt this training you will learn to: \n\n\n\n\nRecognize public policies that support – and sometimes harm – workers with disabilities.\n\n\n\nIdentify legal protections to keep employment during medical leave and available income supports for those who can no longer work.\n\n\n\nApply role-aligned problem-solving strategies in partnership with those with disabilities that you serve.\n\n\n\n\nRegister for the Federal Disability Benefits training here. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\nAlso\, learn about the Immigration Status Basics Training on November 28th!
