DESCRIPTION:Virtual Calling All Veterans Day is an opportunity to receive information on resources and benefits from subject mater experts that will empower independent aging for Veterans of all eras\, their spouses\, or their aging parents. Originally scheduled to take place at the URI Ryan Center in the Spring\, due to COVID\, Virtual Calling All Veterans Day will be live streamed on RI Elder Info’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.  Subject matter experts will provide meaningful information to viewers. Speakers will answer your questions in real time. Any question that can’t be answered during the event will be followed up on. This is an opportunity for the community members to gather information and resources that empower their own independent aging. \n\n\n\n\nVirtual Calling All Veterans Day will be an opportunity for over 9\,000 WWII\, Korean Veterans and their families\, to learn what resources are available for themselves and their spouses to age independently. \n\n\n\n\nVirtual Calling All Veterans Day will enable our 21\,000 Vietnam Veterans to learn what regulations and benefits have been changed and updated since they returned home.
