DESCRIPTION:We can’t wait to network with you!\n\n\n\nNext Networking Gathering: Friday\, Feb 24\, 12-1pm\n\n\n\nRegister for the February 24th Networking Gathering from 12pm-1pm\, which will feature our new Communications & Outreach Assistant\, Dimaura Tavares!   She will talk about her work as an Advocate at AS220 Youth as well as the new format for our CHW Gatherings that will feature important CHWs like YOU! \n\n\n\n\nRegister here!\n\n\n\n\nNew Gathering Format\n\n\n\nCHWARI wants to feature Community Health Workers more in our Monthly Networking Gatherings.  Do you have a work lesson or a story about your community you want to share? \n\n\n\nOur format is that the CHW will talk for 15 minutes about the work they do and then answer questions for 10 minutes.  The remainder of the time – about 30 minutes – will be comprised of networking and sharing\, where all CHWs can swap resources and brainstorm solutions. We will provide an honorarium paying the CHW for their hour of time. \n\n\n\nWould YOU like to request being featured in an upcoming gathering? This is an opportunity for the community members to gather information and resources that empower their own independent aging. \n\n\n\n\nVirtual Calling All Veterans Day will be an opportunity for over 9\,000 WWII\, Korean Veterans and their families\, to learn what resources are available for themselves and their spouses to age independently. \n\n\n\n\nVirtual Calling All Veterans Day will enable our 21\,000 Vietnam Veterans to learn what regulations and benefits have been changed and updated since they returned home.
