DESCRIPTION:Campaign Manager Training Program\nOrganization: Renew US\nLocation: Remote (US) \nProgram Start Date:\nJanuary 18th\, 2022 \nProgram Schedule Options:\nTrack A: Mondays\, Tuesdays\, Wednesdays 7pm-9pm ET\nTrack B: Tuesdays\, Wednesdays\, Thursdays 11am-1pm ET\nTrack C: Saturdays 11am-6pm ET (two\, 30-minute breaks between sessions)\n  \nAbout the Program\nThe Renew U.S. Training Program trains up and coming professional progressive campaign managers and staff. We will support alumni of the program as they go on to manage electoral\, ballot initiative\, and issue campaigns in state legislatures across the country. The Training Program will include: \n● Direct instruction\, coaching\, and project-based work\n● Communication\, delegation\, and conflict resolution skills\n● Guest speakers\, Q&As\, and in-person events to facilitate community development\n● Additional career support and opportunities beyond the duration of the program \nThe program will begin January 18th\, 2022 and run for 8 weeks. A typical week will include 2 hours of direct instruction\, 2 hours of discussion or coaching\, and 2 hours of collaborative project-based work. Participation in the program is free. Need-based stipends will also be available by application. We are recruiting a diverse group committed to advancing an ambitious Green New Deal policy platform\, prioritizing outreach to frontline\, BIPOC\, and working class communities. Dedication and alignment with our goals will be given preference over professional experience. All are encouraged to apply regardless of age\, experience\, education\, or location. \nAbout Renew U.S.\nRenew integrates deep organizing\, policy advocacy and electoral politics to achieve immediate state-level policy victories and long-term\, sustained political transformation. In 2020\, we built a strong foundation and a powerful multi-racial coalition of over 150 grassroots organizations. In 2021\, we launched our first training program\, successfully recruiting over 100 participants that will go on to work for progressive causes across the country.
