Tenga en cuenta: CHWARI no proporciona la certificación en sí; esa autoridad reside en la Junta de Certificación de RI. This free virtual workshop will give advice\, clarity and facts about preparing your portfolio. Please note: CHWARI does not provide the certification itself; that authority resides with the RI Certification Board. SUMMARY:2026 RI Community Health Worker Conference & Awards Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:Tickets Available!\n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets\n\n\n\n\nHelp celebrate and strengthen the Community Health Worker workforce on December 10th at the 2026 RI Community Health Worker Conference & Awards Breakfast\, held at Rhode Island College.  This annual event celebrates the vital role Community Health Workers (CHW) play in advancing health equity\, improving community well-being\, and strengthening connections between individuals\, families\, and the services they need. Attendees will engage in meaningful learning\, networking\, and collaboration while recognizing the leadership and impact of CHWs and allies across the state. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOne Day of Celebration\, Learning & Action: Multiple Ticketing Options\n\n\n\nAwards Breakfast \n\n\n\nAttend the Awards Breakfast to celebrate and be touched by the stories of key players in the CHW community. \n\n\n\n\nGather over breakfast to recognize the accomplishments of CHWs and their allies who make a difference with and for communities. Submit nominations here.\n\n\n\nLearn about sustainability challenges and opportunities for the field through a presentation by the Alliance for CHW Employers’ research on Medicaid data and policy.  \n\n\n\nNetwork with policy makers\, community health workers\, employers\, advocates\, healthcare providers\, and community-based organizations as we explore how our connections can continue to make a positive impact in Rhode Island and beyond.\n\n\n\n\nThe Awards Breakfast portion of the conference is a fundraising event that directly supports the Professional Development Afternoon. Ally tickets are available for $75\, with discounted $25 tickets available to CHWs. \n\n\n\nEmployers are encouraged to invest in their CHW workforce by covering the cost of CHW tickets whenever possible\, helping to ensure broad participation in this important event. The event organizers have co-authored this letter for CHWs to give their employers requesting sponsorship to attend. ‘Community’ Awards Breakfast tickets are available for CHWs who do not have employer sponsorship.  If you need one\, reach out to: alliance@ripin.org. \n\n\n\n\nLetter for CHWs to share with employers requesting attendance sponsorship\n\n\n\n\nProfessional Development Afternoon \n\n\n\nStay after the Awards Breakfast\, or arrive just in time\, for two fun and interactive sessions of professional development\, appropriate for both CHWs and allies\, organized by CHW Voices and the CHW Latinx Group. Each session adapts to what’s happening on the ground—whether sharing tools\, revisiting skills\, preparing CHWs for system-level conversations\, or problem-solving emerging challenges together. CHW feedback and partner dialogue are centered on elevating lived experience and helping shape broader system-level decisions across the state.
