DESCRIPTION:We can’t wait to network with you!\n\n\n\nNext Networking Gathering: Friday\, Feb 24\, 12-1pm\n\n\n\nRegister for the February 24th Networking Gathering from 12pm-1pm\, which will feature our new Communications & Outreach Assistant\, Dimaura Tavares!   She will talk about her work as an Advocate at AS220 Youth as well as the new format for our CHW Gatherings that will feature important CHWs like YOU! \n\n\n\n\nRegister here!\n\n\n\n\nNew Gathering Format\n\n\n\nCHWARI wants to feature Community Health Workers more in our Monthly Networking Gatherings.  Do you have a work lesson or a story about your community you want to share? \n\n\n\nOur format is that the CHW will talk for 15 minutes about the work they do and then answer questions for 10 minutes.  The remainder of the time – about 30 minutes – will be comprised of networking and sharing\, where all CHWs can swap resources and brainstorm solutions. We will provide an honorarium paying the CHW for their hour of time. \n\n\n\nWould YOU like to request being featured in an upcoming gathering? DESCRIPTION:Immigrants and refugees are critical to filling the workforce pipeline that is necessary for employers to thrive. The Next Level Now Collaborative is excited to begin a conversation with workforce system entities\, community-based organizations\, one-stop staff and partners\, and workforce boards to build an understanding of how to create trust\, find tools for improving services and understand how to use refugee and immigrant assets to engage in meaningful and self-sustaining work.This webinar will begin a conversation about services for Immigrant Workers and Refugees which will extend into an invitation-only peer-to-peer discussion three weeks later.
