DESCRIPTION:When: Apr 7\, 2026 12:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) \n\n\n\nDo you know all the ways the Rhode Island Certification Board website can make your life easier? It’s time to find out! \n\n\n\nJoin Treasure Gallagher from the Rhode Island Certification Board (RICB) virtually for this information session. She will share for 30 minutes and then there will be 30 minutes for CHW questions. Attend to learn about how to: \n\n\n\n\nUpload training certificates the day you get them…then it’s done!\n\n\n\nLook up when a credential expires\n\n\n\nChange your email address so that you never miss important reminders\n\n\n\n\nShe will also touch on upcoming changes to the renewal of the RI CCHW credential\, including the changes to the ‘lapsed’ certification status.  And more!  \n\n\n\nThough Director Gallagher will be able to answer some questions regarding the certification application process\, this is NOT a certification application workshop. DESCRIPTION:Learn How to Apply for Certification! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBegin preparing your CHW application\, including portfolio\, for submission to the RI Certification Board. \n\n\n\nIf you have already taken a Community Health Worker training and want guidance on applying for CHW certification in RI\, this workshop is for you! This free virtual workshop will give advice\, clarity and facts about preparing your portfolio. Please note: CHWARI does not provide the certification itself; that authority resides with the RI Certification Board.
