The Opioid Treatment Program Health Home Initiative with support from The Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council of RI


As mental health providers, it is important for us to distinguish the diversity within the Latino population as we assess and treat trauma. During this presentation, we will discuss the diversity within the Latino community in Rhode Island and how trauma impacts the Latino community. We will also provide clinicians with specific-trauma informed techniques to utilize when working with this population.

Social Worker CEUs: Determination of 3.0 National Association of Social Workers credits are pending.

Chemical Dependency Professionals CEUsThis training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
