East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has an immediate full time opening for a Residential Community Treatment Specialist for our residential group home that serves psychiatrically disabled adult men and women in East Providence, RI.
The Residential Community Treatment Specialist will provide residents with a variety of services that educate, teach, supervise, assist and encourage clients to attain the highest possible levels of independence and safety. The successful candidate will coordinate clinical care with the multi-disciplinary team, as well as directly with clients and family members and promote collaboration within case management. He/she will educate and assist clients regarding household management, daily structure, adult daily living skills (ADL), nutrition, and food safety. All shifts require the observation and recording of self-administration of medications; and training will be provided to all new staff as necessary.
The Residential Community Treatment Specialist will have a minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in a Human Services field (or Associates Degree with two years of direct experience OR several years of direct experience). Position schedule is 40 hours per week, 7am -3pm Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and 3pm – 11pm Thursday and Friday. This position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
