PROTECT RHODE ISLAND’S COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS (CHWs)

EOHHS is proposing to eliminate the CHW Medicaid benefit, a decision that would wipe out the entire CHW workforce across Rhode Island. If this cut passes, billing stops, jobs vanish, and community care collapses.
