Job Description
A Bilingual Outreach Worker is needed to promote The Greatest 8TM Text Messaging Service 4-6
hours per week at community organizations, pediatric offices, child care centers, conferences/workshops,
& community festivals throughout Rhode Island. Pay is $25/hour + mileage reimbursement.
The Greatest 8TM is a free resource to help parents teach their young children (Ages 0-8 years) ‘8
skills for a lifetime of mental wellness.’ Parents/caregivers receive weekly text messages with tips
and activities they can use in their everyday interactions with their children. Texts are synched with
children’s ages, so subscribers receive age-appropriate information in both English and Spanish.
