Comunity Care Alliance is seeking an outreach worker to work as a member of our 24/7 mobile crisis team. The outreach worker will work with a team consisting of a clinician, RN, case manager and peer specialist and assist individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The outreach worker will provide support to clients seen and attempt to engage them or re-engage them in services after the initial crisis. The position may also involve transporting individuals ( always accompanied by other staff) to appointments or treatment as well as assisting the program manager with data collection, marketing and networking.
The goal of the program is to provide a rapid response to individuals who are seeking behavioral health services and are in crisis, and to connect them to appropriate resources. The candidate we are looking for will have experience in the field of human services, and in particular an understanding and compassion for individuals in need of treatment for their behavioral health.
Education/ Skills: Associate degree in the field of human services and relevant work experience with the behavioral health population. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Flexible schedule, days, may include evenings and some weekend coverage NO overnights.
