offered by the Institute for Education in Healthcare, with special application requirements related to completion of RI Certifciation Board’s CHW Certification application.
If you are ready to apply for RICB CHW certification, you may qualify for this special version of the Institute for Education in Healthcare’s CHW training. Due to the pandemic and a foreshortening of a grant-deadline, we can only accept people who are ready to submit RICB CHW certification packages by September 29.Time Commitment: 6-12 hours/week (approx 74 hours total)
2 hours Orientation zoom
4-8 hours/ week on asynchronous (not live) assignments, due 9pm before each Zoom session
2-4 hours/week synchronous (live) zoom sessions 5:30-7:30pm
