Immigration Status Basics

Rhode Island-based community health worker colleagues are invited to join MLPB for this upcoming training opportunity! Immigration Status Basics will be held on November 28, 2023 from 12:00PM to 1:30PM. During this training, you will learn to:

  • Recognize different types of immigration status.
  • Identify public policies, systems, and decisionmakers that impact the health and well-being of immigrant and mixed-status households.
  • Apply role-aligned immigration status problem-solving strategies in partnership with those you serve.
