About Koren:
In her words, “I provide supportive services that are needed to help BIPOC People with a history of incarceration, and eliminate disparities in Perinatal Postpartum and Community Health Care. As a BIPOC Woman with lived experience like the population I serve, I know what it looks like to go through an ineffective community re entry process, with no individual tailored support. I began this journey in 2005 and the same needs for judicially-involved women are not met to this day.
Why she started WildLife Doula:
With 15+ years of experience, and working for great organizations that molded me to this point, I decided it was time to take my tools and education to create the environment for people who need Perinatal, Postpartum and Community Health Services. My goal is to support a more prosperous future for them, and their children.
It really does take a village!
