The COPE (Community Outreach Perinatal Educator) program uses a culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed curriculum that includes comprehensive perinatal workforce training: doula, childbirth educator, and lactation.

This training increases cultural competency, humility, and sensitivity for working with a racially and ethnically intentional disadvantage population in perinatal care.

The training focuses on increasing the Black & BIPOC Certified Perinatal Doula workforce and expanding doulas for RI perinatal community.
