CHWARI CHW Gathering with Progreso Latino

CHWARI is excited to host Progreso Latino at our next networking gathering! Progreso Latino’s mission is “to help Rhode Island’s Latino and immigrant communities to achieve greater self-sufficiency and socio-economic progress by providing transformational programs that support personal growth and social change.”

Attend to learn about their resources and services including:

• Assistance in applying for SNAP
• Immigration services
• Adult education
• Nutrition Classes
• Finance Education including Tax Prep
• Social Services
• Domestic Violence
• Wellness services
• Senior Citizen Programs
• And more!

Staff from Progreso Latino will present for 30 minutes followed by 15 minutes of Q & A.  Then there will be 15 minutes of networking.

Progreso Latino tiene como misión  “ayudar a las comunidades latinas e inmigrantes de Rhode Island a tener mayor autosuficiencia y desarrollo socioeconómico al brindar programas transformadores que apoyen el crecimiento personal y el cambio social”.

Asista para conocer los recursos y servicios entre los que incluyen:

• Servicios de inmigración
• Servicios sociales
• Asistencia para solicitar SNAP
• Violencia doméstica
• Educación de adultos
• Clases de Nutrición
• Educación financiera, incluida la preparación de impuestos
• Servicios de bienestar y salud
• Programas para adultos mayores
• ¡Y más!

El personal de Progreso Latino presentará durante 30 minutos seguidos de 15 minutos de preguntas y respuestas.

Luego habrá 15 minutos de trabajo en red.
