MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING AND THE LATINO POPULATION (HELD IN SPANISH)

The Opioid Treatment Program Health Home Initiative with support from The Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council of RI
This training will be conducted fully in the Spanish language. As bi-lingual health providers, we must learn the accurate clinical terminology to communicate with our clients in order to screen, assess and engage them effectively. During this training, you will learn about common misdiagnosis and how to screen in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.
PLEASE NOTE:THIS TRAINING WILL BE HELD IN SPANISH ONLY.
Chemical Dependency Professionals CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 3.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
Social Worker CEUs: Determination of 3.0 National Association of Social Workers credits are pending.
Mental Health Counselors CEUs: Determination of 3.0 RI Mental Health Counselors Association are pending.
| Please Note: A pre-test is required to be taken before the training. In order to receive a training certificate, each participant must complete a post-test, and training evaluation within ten (10) days of completing the training.
