Substance Use Disorder (Online)

Rhode Island College’s Institute for Education Health Care is proud to partner with instructors from the Bradley Learning Exchange to offer this free training.

This virtual training is designed to provide participants with a brief introduction to the complexities of substance use and overuse. Participants will review concepts such as addiction, dependence, and general signs and symptoms of substance use. Learners will have the opportunity to review the four most frequently misused substances, signs of overdose and useful evidence-based interventions. This training will conclude with sharing information with participants on the stigma and barriers associated with substance use.

The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants 1 day before. Certificates of completion will be provided to participants.
