Suicide Prevention (In-Person)
January 31, 2025 : 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Every 11 minutes, someone in the United States dies by suicide. Suicide is a preventable public health problem and prevention depends in large part on appropriate screening and response. In order for school districts to meet the guidelines set forth within the Nathan Bruno and Jason Flatt Act, The Bradley Learning Exchange has developed the Suicide: Prevention, Screening and Response training specifically geared to-wards educational settings for individuals who do not have a background in behavioral health.
Please join the Institute for Education in Healthcare on 1/31/25 from 9am – 12pm on the RIC campus as we join with our colleagues from the Bradley Learning Exchange for this in-person training.
This class caps at 20 trainees. Room number, parking pass and campus map will be emailed to registrants 1 day prior to the event. Certificates of completion will be provided to participants.
Please register by Monday January 25th.
