Vaccine Confidence Boost Workshop

Rhode Island-based Community Health Workers (CHWs) and other healthcare workers are invited to attend this FREE online training session.

This workshop is ideal for:

• Community Health Workers (CHWs);
• Community outreach specialists;
• Vaccine registration coordinators;
• Vaccine clinic staff and volunteers;
• Peer navigators; and 
• Anyone who provides COVID-19 vaccine education or outreach.

This interactive workshop provides an opportunity for participants to practice using effective communication techniques to have informed conversations about the COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines.

Participants will learn to:

1. Describe why people may have low confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines;
2. Provide fact-based responses to common misconceptions about vaccines; and
3. Identify useful strategies in effectively communicating with others about COVID-19 and other vaccines.
