POSITION SUMMARY:
The Housing Coordinator is a vital member of the backbone agency poised to support the
Health Equity Zone, to provide culturally appropriate support and resources to the 02907
community. This position will support HEZs with a disproportionate number of homeless
encampments and high housing cost burden to engage an array of community partners in
developing affordable and supportive housing, including partners such as residents who do
not typically participate in this domain, yet bring valuable perspective and information about
their communities.
This team member will represent the agency and work closely with the HEZ Program Manager
to develop and implement initiatives that increase agency visibility within the community. The
ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and community oriented to be successful in
this role. This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position. The typical schedule would be normal
business hours from Monday through Friday, with some nights and/or weekends required
during special projects or events.
