In January, many of you might have received the Provider Staffing and Expense Survey. This information collected in the survey will be used to support the Office of Health Insurance Commissioner (OHIC) Social and Human Service Programs Review and will help inform the Medicaid reimbursement rate recommendations included in this review.
To assist you in completing the survey, OHIC, in collaboration with Milliman, is inviting CHW providers to a question-and-answer session to respond to provider questions specific to completing the survey. In preparation for this meeting please review the following materials prior to joining the meeting:
- The “Instructions” worksheet in the Provider Staffing and Expense Survey. This serves as the first point of instructional content in completing the survey.
- Pop-out boxes on input cells in the survey. The survey has more specific pop-up instruction boxes when you select various input and header cells within the survey that are included to clarify instructions for the specific cell in question.
- The instructional video linked here: Rhode Island Staffing and Expense Survey Training [vimeo.com]. This video was prepared to illustrate how to navigate the survey and assist in completing the survey.
